Silent Auction Item Showcase: 3 Personal 60-minute Training Sessions - Emancipation Fitness
The initial session with Susan Rosenberg will include assessments of posture and movement, flexibility, balance, core function, and/or muscular fitness based on client health and fitness goals. Follow-up sessions will include a customized exercise plan and guidance on proper form and technique and an opportunity to ask your health and wellness questions.
Susan began her career as a personal trainer in her mid-40s in response a health crisis. She wanted to understand how to exercise, eat healthy, and reduce stress in order to heal from depression and childhood trauma. Her mission at Emancipation Fitness, LLC is to share what she has learned and help her clients build strength, muscle and confidence.

Client testimonial: “I was always intimidated by the idea of going to a personal trainer as a queer nonbinary person, especially since I have a history of orthorexia. Susan’s methods of body-positive goal-setting, working with injuries, and person-first training were exactly what I needed. As we’ve shifted from cross-training for swimming to working out at home during a pandemic, I’ve felt encouraged and supported in trying new exercises and learning good form to prevent injuries. Plus it’s just cool to work out with a rad queer person!”
